I just had my 87 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4wd stolen from my house in Carmichael this morning (9.17.04). This is the second 4Runner I've personally had stolen in this area in the past year and I'm starting to get pissed. Anyways. It's an 87. White paint with orginal grey racing-type stripes on the hood and side panels. 4" procomp lift and 35" procomp tires. rear detroit lockers and dana 5.29 gears. flomaster exhaust and red fox racing stickers on rear side windows. plate # 2FAF025. drivers seat had a colt 45 sweatshirt as a seat cover. this is my baby and i just cant let her get away (like my last one). this whole 4x4 stealing craze going on in sacramento has gotten out of control. i may move just to keep my damn truck. thanks for anyone who reads this and may have any info on my truck. reward may be possible. thanks again guys and good luck with yur rigs too.

Sorry to hear about it. I'll keep a look out for it.
How was it taken ? Did they break into your garage ? Did it have an alarm, or club on it ?

Yeah. I just bought it and it was stolen from my second driveway, not in a garage. I had scheduled this Monday to put an alarm and a GPS system on it, but obviously I won't be making that appointment. It does suck and I wish the one thing I want more in this world than anything (my runner) was back with me. However, life does go on and shit does happen so I have to suck it up and go on as before. I just hope she's found. And it doesn't help that I live in Sac, which is like the candy store for crankheads who steal yotas. They can't get enough. But anyone who can, keep an eye out as long as you can stand to and I promise I'll keep mine open for yours too. Thanks guys (and girls).

Found
A few days ago, my Runner was found out in a field by the raildroad tracks at Auburn/MArconi area. All Pro 35s and American Racing wheels stolen. Skid plate gone, front windshield busted, driver door sort of crushed. Overall, not too bad. I am so glad just to have it back. Thanks to everyone who's looked out for it and I promise to keep looking for yours. Something needs to be done about the Yota thefts in Sac though. Its gotten out of control. Anyways, thanks again. I can sleep happy, but cautiously tonight.
