Wink Can you say Abuse Me! We can, Ruffstuff Brackets, New pics....

If you are fullsized (over 5000lbs) or you are known for a heavy foot and you are linking it up you need to think seriously strong and supporting, you need Ruffstuff 3 legged links and Chassis Tabs. Our 1/4" brackets are strong enough for lighter weight rigs but you need the heft and strength of our 3/8" Brackets and Axle Tabs......

They come in 0 degree, 10 degree, & 22 degree.

And our 3/8" Chassis tabs (calling them Tabs is kind of wrong, they weigh almost a pound each). , well, we all know they will be hit so we like to make them so they can take a hit again and again!

For the axle end you need to think beefy too, yes, they will take less impact but they will have to stand up to the extreme torque and HP you guys are pushing......Think 3/8" all the way around.....

the pics show the 3 legged joints...and yes, those are the biggest joints made!

Have I said enough? Well how about a little more.....With the PBB10 discount complete packages are around $150 delivered, check them out!

If I do a big order (i.e. over $200) on random brackets I need for my build will you give me a little pbb discount? I could use a lot of tabs to finish my build and save some time, but it gets pretty expensive.

Just finished a new batch of the 22 degree......

Seems like they are a little more popular than the 10 degree brackets.....Both are selling fast!

Dan,
Everything you sell that is 3/8" thick is A50, correct?

Arrow Yes, the A50 is a denser steel and we use it for 2 reasons.....

First and most obviously, it takes impact better than a softer steel.

Secondly, and from a different direction, is cuts cleaner under the laser with less slump.

And finally, as promised, Pics of these from Trevor at WFO Concepts in Auburn, Cali.....Trevor & Beau are building this truck for a younger brother who gets alot of air time, but if you noticed the Atlas, he can crawl too! If I remember right it is a '68 GMC Shorty and if you look at the frame in these pics you will discover some of the amazing work they do at WFO.....

And Yes, those are the biggest joints made.....When going big, go all the way!

I assume what you call A50 is A576 type 50, correct? Yes it does have better yield and tensile strength numbers than junky hot rolled A36 plate. However, it has nothing to do with its density. All steel whether 1008 or this alloy has a density of .284 lbs./cu.in. So technically its density has nothing to do with its strength, but it is the addition of a few alloys that does. It's also easily weldable and obviously cuts well so it is a great candidate for making these brackets. Not trying to start an argument, just looking for all the facts. I know most people buy these and could care less what it is they're made of, however I like to know every little detail so I know what I'm dealing with. Thanks again!

Yes it is, it was my Cutters idea originally, he is an engineer, I am only a seat of the pants engineer. He gave me a too detailed explaination of why I should use it! We are very happy with the results though, Thanks.

Do it in a BIG way! You can put a kit together for around $150 and it will be the strongest out there! For certain!

You are going to be seeing alot of these.....

Tons of orders for them.....People like the strength and I am getting comments about how easy the mud comes off because they are open all the way around and yet fully triangulated and protected.

Arrow So, you just bought your EVO joints.....

And you were going to use them with 3/16" brackets? Are you planing to use the brackets as a fuse? The brackets need to be as strong as the joints! Think Ruffstuff!
