It's official....FOA Shocks is a vendor!

Thanks for all the interest guys. We've sold shocks because of Pirate4x4 referals and as promised, I've signed us up as a Vendor. Watch for some new stuff soon! Here's a "hint".......This one is a very early example. I hope to have pics of the newer ones soon.

So when are the new bypass shocks supposed to be done and how much?

Can't really speculate on pricing just yet.....we need to get everything together and then add up all the costs. WAAAAAYYYY more labor than most anything else with external tube bypasses. Once we have the final design down and can see what the start to finish production time will be, we can figure the price. Our pricing goals are a 2 tube in the low $300's and a 3 tube in the higher $300's.
The first set of the new 3 tube goes on my buggy in a week or so....then we have testing with it, plus a long travel truck. Once we are happy with the overall results, we'll start to market them. You guys know as soon as I do.
I'll post pics of the new shocks on my car once we get it back together.

Well, try as I might, I just don't have the space to fit the 3 tube bypass on my car. My car is super tight between the frame and tires. We'll be putting a 2 tube on it instead. Hopefully have some feedback in a week or so.

So far, so good on feedback. It's coming in slowly but surely. Here's one I got this weekend....
"He is very happy with the product. The guy working on the truck says those shocks are a better quality than the more expensive ones and we'll definitely be spreading your company name around. Thank you very much."

Here's from a guy that does prep work on a Class 1 car and a Pro-truck.....he wanted to see the shockls for himself, so he came by to check them out. He posted this on another website...
"I went to check out the smooth bodys today. Its a quality product. Chris was very knowledgable and helpful. They save labor by simplifying the machining on the shocks which allows for them to manufacter the shock for a low price. The only downfall IMO was that the ends did not have a tradition uni-ball with a snap ring. They were casted as one peice. Which was no big deal because the complete casted end isn't expensive. I will am going to be purchasing products from FOA in the near future for my build. If your on a budget and need a good quality shock try em' out. "

if the uni bals are not replaceable - how much missalignment can they give ? 1/2 bolts ?? pm me a quote for 2 - 2.5 emulshion 16 " to 96003 buisness address - do you offer a spring swap ??

x2 on the spring swap question. I'm very interested but i'd like to be able to swap rates if I need to. If I can do that, i'd place an order right now.

Also, how am I suppose to chose a valving? Is this something you could figure out with an unsprung weight and terrain or am I stuck guessing?

We don't currently have the ability to so a spring swap, as the springs are drop shipped direct from Eibach. If you think you'll be needing to try numerous springs, I'de get them from PolyPerformance....good guys, I do business with them myself.
You can just contact me directly and we can figure out the best valving for your application.

Coilover update.......due to popular demand, our billet lower shock end with the replaceable heims will now be a standard item on all coilovers.... NO additional charge!!!
