I think I am 80% better now but everyone watch out for that Ebola Virus thats going around, nasty stuff!

Now, back to your regularly scheduled sales pitch! The Right perches, the Right ubolt plates, the Right ubolts, 1 stop, 1 price, good stuff! No reaching in the dark, we know our axles! I have 46 now!

Arrow No reaching in the dark is right!

I spent about an hour this afternoon while on the phone trolling lots of my competitors websites! With the stuff they grew up with they are good, make your own measurements though when ordering parts! I can't believe how many misstakes were posted about axles as fact, I mean lots

I have 3 assets I will share with you all, these are the guys I go to when I have questions about axles that I can't answer (It happens all the time).

I will call Trevor at WFO Concepts , Sean at Rivercity Differentials, or Chase at East Coast Gear Supply, they are the only 3 guys that I know that have more axles than I do but they get inside way more than I do and have the answers!

Just doublecheck if you are getting info from an ordertaker or the guy that designed the parts and really has a touch of first hand knowledge. I really do believe that if you don't own it you have no right talking about it, you can't even check yourself!

I swear, one company couldn't even tell you the size of an '89 Toyota rear axle, said he would have to check in a post in a public forum, I mean thats just a little bit on the easy side don't you think?

Another was selling several things for a 14 bolt axle and in 5 or 6 places quotes a pretty important measurement wrong, I didn't find the right size ever mentioned. And they are selling you parts for these axles!

So if you want to sell some stuff make a little investment and buy the damm axle so you stop spreading bad information, I don't really think that will help you on repeat business!

Worth reading & understanding.....

In many cases you won't know until you get the parts and they don't fit....

Arrow Thats right, another!

I'm really just doing it to stress the companies following in our footsteps that feel they have to match us product for product, its' actually kind of fun!

After I release them they will say they have made them for years and they just never made it to the website! Any takers on that bet?

Got a few questions for you Dan:

The D70/Sterling "simple swap" kit... does it work for 2.5" leaf springs? I love the selection of products on your site, but a few critical measurements aren't always there.

Anyways, in a nutshell what I need a quote on is the following:

- D70/Sterling "simple swap" kit w/ 2.5" wide spring perches/plates
- 3-3/16" wide "way back" shackle hanger kit(I'm using flipped XJ springs)
- Chevy 63" frenched leaf spring hangers
- set of 4" straight shackles
- set of 5" straight shackles(getting both for some ride height fudge-factor, they're cheap enough so why not?)

- also I'm considering a pair of diff covers for my D60 and D70... quote on those too please?

I was in the middle of putting stuff in my cart and the site is down for maintenance... just my luck

-Tony

edit: what size are the bolt holes in the leaf spring hangers and shackles you sell? My spring hanger needs to have a maximum 9/16" bolt hole, the shackles will need a 1/2" bolt hole or smaller on the spring side. I can drill holes out obviously but I don't want to put together sloppy leaf springs.

We were changing servers, we are using too much bandwidth so we went to a server of our own.....It will depend on how ofter your IP updates as to how long we seem down to you. I was off for about 20 minutes. You should be able to check now and if you can't i will for you tommorrow when I am in the shop...

Hey Dan, got the rest of my stuff today, you've got the absolute best customer service I've ever dealt with.

For anyone considering buying from him, DO IT! I bought a chevy spring swap kit and a D70 spring mounting kit on Sunday 3/22, stuff shipped out Monday 3/23, I recieved the goods Wednesday 3/25. Unfortunately the spring perches and u-bolt plates were forgotten, no problem, I was super psyched just to have gotten anything that quickly!

I called Dan up and let him know what happened, his voicemail box was full, but I got a call back not even 45min later, he got the perches and plates express-mailed to me and I recieved the other stuff today Friday 3/27.

If I end up not being able to make my own brackets for my front 3-link, I definitely know who I'll be using.

Thanks again Dan!

Thanks!

And I am very sorry for the error in the original shipment.....

But for me its off to the races! One of our semi sponsored drivers is making his first foray into racing his 7200 truck and he is going to suprise a bunch of people! His lap times are way better than the track record but lets see how he does in traffic! If you are in the Sacramento area head out to Prarrie City today!

Wow, another week since the last post!

Kevin did great at the races for the first time in traffic! 2nd place til the last 10' so a clean 3rd out of 11 in his 1st race, 2nd heat he lost his brakes on the 2nd lap while in 1st place. He still finished not a half a lap behind the leader without brakes though!
