Nice build I like it. Hardest thing about any build is not putting or leaving parts and tools in the tub
Makes it a PITA to find later or have to clean out all the time.

i F'd up and found that i had the top springs for the front and back at the wrong end the 120"s go in the back and the 125's go up front. couldnt figure out why it sat so much higher in the back then in the front.thought i was gonna have to order lighter springs. my ride height was 3" taller then i wanted, had to crank the front springs down to get it to set level.problem solved though

mocking up the links and such, used Trail Gear creepers with the 5/8 through bolt on each end, gotta love pvc links.ended up using some tubing i found at the scrap yard for links.i think its DOM. it was laying on the ground in 20 ft sections,5 of them.its seamless and has a wall thickness of .30 its not dark like DOM but it looks like it has been on the ground for awhile.tried to bend it but there wasnt a hyd bender in town that could budge it.ended up borrowing a pipe bender from a fencing guy and had to heat the tube to get any bend out of it at all.didnt collapse it at all.ended up cutting those links off the front anyway.bought the tubing at scrap weight, paid 200$ for all of it
![]() ![]() this is what i ended up with for the lower mount, sorry for the crappy cell phone pic.on the top of the mount are some holes im gonna run a tube through to mount to the frame to stiffen it up.the tube is 2" DOM with .250 wall so it shouldnt bend ![]() ![]() this is how the upper link mount came out,its all 1/4" inch plate.only have this 1 pic. frame is plated with 1/4" wherever i had to weld a link mount to it.the upper link is missing a brace that i later added but dont have a pic of

lower links came out to be 39" and the upper links came out to 36" long.the lower links are 5 degrees up in the front and the uppers are 1 degree up in front also.both links are triangulated

this is what i ended up with, not sure if its good or bad but any comments good or bad would be helpful. can adjust the lower links up if need be and the upper links can go up another inch.

love the build mate. Very nice rig and clean fab work
make uppers adjustable on the rear?looks similar in the pic to what mine would be like now since i lifted it as the squat was terrible and a huge mistake. i still think i could have gone up a fraction more at the frame end of my uppers. sorry double checked pic showing adjustment on uppers also. i went with a set of dune buggy lights when i cut up my front end. $30 each they look like a big kc housing that holds the factory 7" dot sealed beam. i got them at a local VW dune buggy shop. i think they are sold by EMPI
