Can you change anything in the 2.0 ecu?

Not doing anything crazy like forced induction so no real need to run MS.
Just more along the lines of having a shop (or program) that can turn off certain things, like second 02 sensor to leave out the cat, tell the computer there isnt an auto attached anymore (not sure if this will be an issue) or maybe very basic tuning.

Or are these 2.0 ecus pretty much untouchable from a software standpoint?

I don't think any of the Suzuki ECU's are tweakable.

MegaSquirt time.

I know in some cars disconnecting the rear o2 sensor will mist throw a code and not have any ill defects on the drive ability of the car.

is it like that for the Vitara as well?

Rear O2's are there to monitor the efficiency of the "cat"...that is all they do.

They do the same thing on a Viagra...
