What should idle be?

88.5 1.3 Samurai. Stock engine.

I turned it up a bit before the run the other day. I use to idle around 300 rpm. Now its up to 1200ish. Is that high, or did I just get accustomed to a stupid low idle?

Unless your engine runs extremely well on low revs i'd set it around 900-1000.
Kinda depends on your driving style i guess

Every topic there, unless I skipped over it dealt with rough idle or idle issues. I was just curious what it supposed to be "stock".

Mine always stalled with the slightest touch of the clutch. That push button start has to be one of the better things I did because I'm always pressing it.

I did turn it up. Its about 1100ish now. I guess I'm just not used to it that "high".

Thanks.
