traitor!
Everyone is going to Toyota axles, dual Toyota cases, Toyota IFS steering, etc. I did the same thing, only I went with Toyota Everything!
![]() I found a good deal on this '85 Xtracab SR5. 22RE fuel injected engine and factory solid axle. I'll miss the open air feel of the Zuk, no top, windshield, or doors..... but I was ready for something different. I'll try the Toy thing for a while, if I don't like the truck, I'll have all of the good drivetrain bits to make a tough Samurai!

Thanks 'Rat, I think once you have the bug you never fully recover. I sold the Zuk to try the street rod thing, but as you can see in the picture the Nova is sitting out front for sale. I didn't even get the 454 swapped in yet. I had to have another 4x4, I was going crazy!
The cab is perfectly straight and rust-free. The bed..... Rotten! I have a few ideas for a flat bed with a roll bar/cage, I just need a friend with a tube bender.

Good to see that you are back ! I am taking crunchy /x-csr to the mountains this weekend . I wondered how long it would take for you to get the "bug " again . I broke the t case in Crunchy last trip so I had to swap it into a new case this weekend . Otherwise its ready to go for the weekend .

I have friends with Toyota trucks and 4Runners, they usually run doorless, I plan to do the same. I already have the sliding glass, so I'm almost there.
Having a roof has it's advantages..... I just put a CD player in the Toyota, I knew one would never last in Zuk as much as I got rained on with the top off.
