bad ecm
ive got an ecm with a fried component and a couple burnt traces...
i have several pics of the board but no schematic..... the part no# of the ecm is 33920-60a31 e2t40472 8z19....... i have heard of people repairing them in some cases but have no background in automotive electronics....... so is it a toss it in the trashcan or what.......

Yes, you can have them sent in to various places and get them redone. I had mine go bad and it cost me $200 to get it fixed.
There are a number of places that specialize in fixing the computer. I went to: http://www.hawksuzukiparts.com/. Don't throw it away because it can be re done. Hope that helps. |
