Official Razor build up
Well i know this isnt zuk stuff anymore.....But this is a cool project i thought you might all enjoy..

Well this year we have teamed up with Tony K from Rock Equipment and Team HBRK will be running a Razor chassis.

So yesterday I took the day off from work and went to the secret Razor building plant......





All right it is at Pep Daddy's shop in Auburn...And we put together the cab of the chassis.

I will be posting pics of the complete build up and the parts and pieces that we are putting into this thing.

This chassis is a very cool mid engine design wich will house a 4.3 vortec, Powerglide, Atlas 2, D60's and 2 seats all wrapped in a 48" wide package

We will be running the new Rock Equipment Coilovers (all aluminum housings).

D60's built by Adam Ant at Rosemont 4wd using Crane king pin knuckles, C's, High steer arms, and diff covers...........And of course some 4340 Yukon shafts from Greg at 4wd Factory with some Bling Bling CTM's.

We have some other goodies in store, and will show those along the way, but for now here are some build up pics...


The chassis is made from 1.5" DOM.

The front reminds me of this buggy project I saw a long time ago on rockcrawler.com, the Raptor. I don't think it was ever finished. They were going for a sand rail profile (nice and low) but on a Rockcrawler. Looks cool.

That has to be one of the fugliest tube chassi's I've ever seen!

Common, you can bend up a better lookin' chassi than that!

Exactly...Very light weight and very functional...

This will not be a trail rig by any means....This year we are building a comp only rig...No frills..

We are making changes in the chassis design that differ from the first set of Razor's that were released...

Some cosmetic, and some structural.

I am very excited about this project........This next year will be very very fun and competitive

Looks wise, I'm loving the front end...but the middle and rear could use some work. It seems so....boxy.

Running gear sounds like it should kick some ass and hold it's own. What kind/size tires are you going for? 37" Krawlers?
