Send a message via Yahoo to godzuki
i was thinking of building a 6.1 t case for my zook.

the aluminum case is not strong enough for my drivetrain.

maybe even some kind of chain drive

I had a quick search on the net but couldn't find it but, i somewhere there's a site that shows how to build a 4.16:1 using some parts out of a 410 t-case and putting them into the sammy case.
Its called a rocklobster t-case. ( i think)

Rob and Dave's site was where I got all my inspiration to do my gears. http://www.bc4x4.com/spamuri/html/buildup.html

it's cool that those pics still live on the net!

it would have been kinda nice of whoever did this to have acknowledged where those pics and info came from originally.

Thanks Rob and Dave, by the way, for getting me going.

I never even realised that the site i posted was different to Rob and Dave's. It was Rob and Daves site i originaly found the info on but couldnt find it again so i did a google search on Rocklobster and the page i posted is the one i came up with.

Never noticed it was different

Thanks goes to Rob and Dave

The volvo underdrive guy did it in reverse i believe ( sammy gears into sj410 case ) which is what i did. Mine is an 85 sj410 and the gears from it would work for what you are doing.
