Post Slick LWB Sammi

Saw this this past weekend and just loved it. It had Spidertax axles F/R with full floater and ARB's, 35's and a coil front and 1/4 rear.

Wow... I am famous. I am definitely sending the wife this link. Had a good time this weekend, actually still testing my steering problems. I will start on softening up the elip when I get further down on my list of things to do.

rlsami,

Haven't been down there yet with this truck. I will be going in the near future. I definitely want to try the new area... what is it, green acres or something? I am going to Cass, AR this weekend for the 4x4 Wars then to CalRocks in two weeks... of course, I won't be competing.

I have to get my steering working and a tranny oil leak fixed... then I can move on down the list. My hopes will have the truck ready for Moab next year.

Glad you guys like it...

I am not absolutely sure where gilmer is, think east of Dallas... I know green acres is somewhere close to Clayton... wonder if Gilmer has plenty of wheelin, enough for 2 days? I heard the green acres area is really cool....

I don't have any plans just yet... maybe late April or early May.

Everyone needs to not forget about CalRocks in Disney on the 17th... gotta support this effort.

Wish my ass was in Moab next week... I am depressed.

LWB's do kick ass!

I love my LWB, and it's a never ending project. Just gone done with paint and rhino lining the inside. Hopefully it will be ready to go pretty soon.

Because your boy with the 33's hasn't called me back yet! If you would like to donate some bring them over! Hey, did you get rid of the original top that covers the passenger area?

I looked at stealing some of your components off of your LWB(this is the first couple of times I saw as I picked up parts from Spidertrax) but it was all junk. If it was only there now on the trailer out front ... .... just kidding. It's the only LWB I've seen with my own two eyes. In real life. Not in a book or on TV or on the internet. It was there for a while too. Tom and Eddie are busy mfs.

Taking the body off isnt a big deal. Bobakin had mine stripped and ready to lift in a few hours the first time. I have had mine off several times and its no big deal at all.

Those are bushwacker flares that are made for a wrangler, they're 6" I believe. Hey, I was thinking big - big flares, big tires, you know...I just haven't got around to buying new tires yet. Those 32's look puny on there.

I had SpiderZuk's LWB down at Zookimelt before I sold it to him. I couldn't believe how many people came by my campsite to take pics of it and drool. More times than I can count I people would tell me "I've seen LWBs in pics and on the internet, but I've never seen one of these up close before".

TruckTrader, could you send me pics of your rig too, as well as your list of mods? It looks really clean. Please email me at raymondlaf@shaw.ca.

Thanks.
