2.3L Volvo B230FT w/ 15g, AW71 auto w/ accumulator mod, home made adapter to RF1A twin stick toyota transfer case w/ 2.28 gears, toyota mini truck axles 5.29 gears locked in front & welded rear, Epic Trek spring over axle suspension by Trail Tough : Suzuki rear up front & YJ rear springs w/ custom valved shocks.

Currently at 7 PSI, with enough fueling to run 10-12PSI without leaning out, based on current AFRs. Auto trans slams the shifts at full throttle so no lost boost during shifts.

If I gut the floor and just use the skin, can I still call it a Zuk and hang out?

You have some type of trail damage on the drivers front fender area. You should probably come out to Zuwharrie again to make the Passengers side match

Someone welded some ridiculous bumpers to the tub, and smothered it in bondo, expecting it to hold. It really wasn't salvageable, and the drivers front took a good lick as well. Gonna mimick my old build, just a touch more motor and portals.

Ugh I wish! Taking it to Moab in a few weeks.. There are still some things I need to do to it..

I guess Mark was a lot braver than me.

But I have been sorta enjoying/ hating it since I bought it from him.

Putting a panhard on the front and lowering it a little really helped.

The hills of TN get really slick after a thunderstorm, my talent fluid reservoir was also running low. If you look close, you might see some Low Range parts.

Make Pirate great again.

Just fine. It was a pretty soft flop compared to the others that it has experienced

Installed a radio, storage tray, power outlets and speakers.

Big thanks to Figmo for the excellent price and service on the radio box and tray. I originally ordered them from LowRange on Monday. Wednesday I got an email from them saying the parts were back ordered for 1 to 2 weeks. Not sure why they didn't tell me that when I ordered and paid...
Cancelled that order and called Roadless Gear. He had them in stock, shipping was $10 cheaper, and the parts arrived yesterday (Friday). You can't beat that for service and shipping!!

I had read that 6.5" speakers would fit in the factory location, but I was skeptical since the stock speakers are only 4". Was pleasantly surprised to find that they do fit.

Also installed a cool USB charger with volt meter. It lets you keep an eye on battery condition (with engine off) and charging condition (with engine running).
