Push Button Starter
B4 you all flame me I tried the search and only found the ways to bypass everything to install my switch.
My question is who is running a push button starter that is hooked up so you have to have the key in the ignition and turned to the ACC then push the hidden start button? Which 2 of the 4 wires do I need to cut off the back of the ignition switch and hook up to my button?? I read the thread that was started by NC_Zuk but it didn't say what wires need to be cut and spliced into the button. Thx in advance to all that will help

I think the wires are labelled on the back of the switch if I remember correctly. You want the one that's labelled STA.

Thx
I just got it done, works fine. I should have went outside and tried it b4 I asked. If any one is ever wanting to do this simply cut the black/yellow wire behind the ignition switch and run it to one of the terminals on the push button starter switch. Then splice into the white/black wire on back of the ignition switch and run it to the other terminal on your button. Done in this way you have to have the key in the ignition and turned on before the button will work.

With a test light it is not that hard to figure out. You also may want to consider what I did. I just spliced into the wires so i can start it with the switch or the button. The reason I did it this way is because my ignition doesn't hold my key in so when I'm hill climbing and I start to bounce sometimes my key falls out, so now I just turn the ingition on and put the key in my pocket.
