LUV springs?
Just wondering if anyone has put Chevy LUV springs on a samurai to gane a longer wheelbase? The springs have a off set pin so if i fli[p them around they should move my wheelbase close to 90+". I searched but didn't come up with anything on LUV springs. The springs are 46" long from eye to eye. i just need to figure out how to hook them up. in the rear i'll have to pull the gas tank and get a fuel cell. I know if i did this i'll need to cut the body up which is fine. just wondering what you guys think.
Oh yeah i'm putting toy axles under it now also.

Sounds like a novel concept because you already have the springs. Ask yourself these questions:
How many spare packs do you have? Do you know where you can spares? I have been averaging about 4 spring packs per year. Mostly rear, but last night I was changing out the main leaf on my OME packs on the front with stock main leafs because I destroyed both Main leafs last time I was out. What ever you use for a spring, I would recommend something very common. Leaf springs are easy to bend. The novelty of unique parts quickly wears off when you need a spare.

I put a set on the rear and it moved the wheelbase out to 90" and thats with one set in the rear if i put the other set on the front it should move me to 96". I think i;m just going to put them on the front since putting them on the rear it will take alot more work.
