yes this is a stupid question.

Well...the sami is cut well into alot of pieces,so its not moving. i need to know which way the drive shaft spins going into the front and rear axle. IE clockwise/counterclockwise looking from the t case down to the axle. Im going to run waggy 44s, butt...i have a hp ford axle housing that ill be puting the tubes into. so i just need to check and make sure eveything is going the correct direction. yah i know its stupid

The reverse spiral diff (aka: high pinion) spins the same direction as the standard diff, so you'll have no problem with using it.

I 'spose you could jack up one wheel and turn the driveshaft by hand. Watch the wheel turn. Unless you have lockers, then jack up both rear wheels.

yah i know but i was looking to make the call yesterday on the housing, couldnt get to the sami axle until this weekend. thanks for the info seems like it should be fun.
