Help - thermostat housing for DOHC 1.3

I am in the process of installing a DOHC Swift 1.3 in my Sammi and am trying to locate the proper thermostat housing that is a 90* rather than the stock one that would put the hose through the firewall. According to other posts, in need a 85-88 Chevy Sprint housing. This is a discontinued item at the dealer, the local bone yards don't have anything that old, and none of the part houses have a listing. Does anyone have one that they are willing to sell or know of a place that I can get one?

You can probably buy an entire Chevy Sprint for what that part alone will cost you seperately.

Checking local junkyards and Ebay are probably your best bets.

Good luck in your search

Wink

Tried both ebay and all of the local yards. Not a Chevy Sprint anywhere! I contacted Hawk Suzuki and they had one. It's on the way - problem solved!

I used a samurai thermostat housing, I only had to slot the hole.

I learned later that Sprint housing can be found at the stealership for cheap.
