question for those with toyota cv in front driveline

I am needing to put a toyota cv in my front driveline. Does the CV clear the trans. crossmember? If you have had to cut it, what are you using to reinforce it? Thanks for your time.

If it is a CV it wont work the pattern is to large for the small flange, and if it is the big flange I wouldnt trust the amount of meat left to hold. BTW you also have to have the centering ring of the flange machined to except the shaft. right there is enough to justify adapters. Alos the CV will not work in front (will not clear the stock x-member) You could also use a non cv rear toy shaft shortened for your front.
