That big orange sammy is cool, but I bet it can't do crap. I would love to see it keep up in the rough stuff, it probably does well in the mud with all the horsepower though. I will give him points for something different to.

He keeps it too clean for the mud. it's strictly show.

originally when I built the truck, and had Rock4xfabrications do the suspension, it was going to be a show truck only. But, I got to the melt and drove it around out there, I got hooked! I climbed hills, went through the mud, and out in the trails where the height wasn't a deterant. I had no idea what I was missing! To hell with mall cruisers, that is some fun stuff!

I was a little surprised when I saw Brian take it from the parking lot out and up the Hill of the Green trail. ( using only 2wd) the truck does well) A Very large thanx Th Brian and Family for coming out and bringing the beast with. I had a better time at camp then out on the trail.

Spiny you should have stopped by the camp Site..

I saw your buggy(rockrat) at the rock rage comp. wasn't sure if you were coming or not didn't seem like there were that many people this year at least Thursday and Friday . I had to go to Holiday World on Saturday and I didn't camp just drove home both nights . I had a couple rookies with me so I lead them around both days . I had to take it easy on Fri. I cracked a rear driveshaft flange in the quarry and didn't want it to come apart but had a great 2 days .

We camped at the badlands. I brought the Clubs Circus tent so we would have plenty of shade. I fixed My blown birf (DR. Side ) right after pulling off the trailer. Cause was a F/D up HuB. Bob didnt come down untill Fri. Morning with the parts so I sat around and Bullshit'd till then.

I think it didnt seem as big was that people were spread amongst 3 camp grounds instead of just one.

I am getting more fluent in 2 wheel driving. LOL

That seemed to be the theme of last year... break your stuff on day one

I blew up a motor, SammiDavis tore apart his whole rig (it just kinda imploded!)

I was pretty upset that I missed this years event, (it's the first melt I have missed in a long time). Looks like you guys had a lot of fun.

The Melt was a good time, lots of cool zukes, and mostly cool owners

I'm looking for pictures of my roll in the Quarry before the Rally Race.

I have an orange zuk, (I know, 1 of about 50 there) and rolled it by the finish line of the rally race. I flopped it about 1/2 hr before the competition started. My digicam lost all my pics, so I'm hoping someone else cought it on film.

Thanks,
jasonpugh@charter.net

Those are rigs built by Tim Porter. He has not been on any boards other then Izook that I know of. He sold the green one a yr or so ago and the Orange one was Chesters Rig. Dont know if he is on this board though. He got out of zuks and into street rod customs. He did show up at this yrs melt though in a stock Tracker

Speaking on behalf of everyone at I-Zook....thank you again for a great Melt! This was one of the best ever for myself and the rest of the staff.
We really hope to see you all again next year.

I remember something about it being from an anhydrous ammonia tank trailer. I don't know where it came from....but it works. That 4 yr old design is still winning the RTI contest every year at the melt!

I had a great time this year, stepped up and played in the rocks a lot more.
Okie, I was gonna' try to catch you, and wheel with you some this year, but I guess it wasn't in the cards. I will definitely look you up next year....or maybe take you up on the offer to come out to OK and play.
