steering question

ummm....errr.....the arm that goes from wheel to wheel with the toe adjustment on the front end is the tie rod right?..I broke mine the other day and gotta order a new one, looked through my factory service manual, but can't find the tech name for it. It snapped right where the adjustment (turnbackel?) is. just need the name for the arm.

Thanx

For an entire Tie rod or just one tre.. I think you may get one end for $23. but not the entire shaft.

you're right and the people down at autozone were ignorant left hand side was 23 bucks, right hand side is impossible to find since its welded into the shaft all the way up to the tunbackle. was the 89 samurai set up different? one auto parts store i called said that on an 89 samurai the left and right tie rod ends were the same, were they not welded in on that year?...if no bone yards around here have the right hand tie rod i'd definatly be intrested in buying yours Rockrat, if nothing else i'd keep it as a spare.

Thanks
