I am running the RRO kit because it is the only kit that I can run an aftermarket bumper with. It has worked well for me

how do the missing links work on the freeway? rro has a speil about how awful they are, and stopped selling them. i don't have anybody local to compare rides to, either. i have been sitting on a set of yj springs and will do the swap after i finish the axle buildup and engine swap i'm in the middle of, and haven't made up my mind about using brent's parts, rro's, or just building my own.

If you do a short frame extension, you don't need missing links. Of course then you can't really use a store bought bumper either. You pays your money and takes your chances.

I drove the truck on the rd for a bit right after I built it... then it got all banged up and not really road worthy
the Trail Tough missing links behave very well at rd speeds, hard breaking, cornering, etc... trust me..I tested them just to see what da fck a lot of ppl were cryin' about my research leads me to believe that there are no ill effects of running them on the rd. (at least not the Trail Tough ones )

I have no problems with my TT M/L set up on the street. I am running a 4.3 with them and not easy on it.

My experience seeing the ML in action is that they will give you a better ramp score than regular shackles. But off-road the extra 3"-4" of droop doesn't really matter - there is so little weight on the drooping tire it doesn't do much for traction.

I have yet to see a real world obstackle where a truck without ML could not follow a rig with ML (everything else being the same).

I'm running a Wheeler's front bumper which is one of the only bumpers I've seen where the YJ kits require slight modifications to fit. I used to have the ole CSC S/R kit and it required a little bit of modifications. Now I'm running the TT setup and it also required a little bit of modifications to fit with the bumper.

As far as missing links go on the road, mine handles just fine. Well as fine as a lifted zuk with 34's, a spooled rear and no sway bar will handle.
