toyota front axle
im fitting toyota axles to my LWB sammy.....i have landcruiser LJ 70 axles.
the front has a high pinion diff. i want to go SPOA with the front axle...and also reverse the shackles to lose the fangs at the front. my question is....where do i set the pinion in relation to the output when i weld on the perches??do i keep the angle the same as the cruiser?? will the high pinion diff help??? ive read the stickys but just looking for specifics... thanks in advance for any help you can give me...

if you have a CV driveshaft - the pinion points at the t-case
if you don't have a CV driveshaft, you want the ujoints top and bottom to be at the same angle. but since it's the front, you might be more concerned with the castor to make sure it handles properly.

If you are going to drive it on the street (or any real speed) at all, you will want to set the castor up correctly and live with whatever driveshaft angle it produces. Regardless of what you do, a hp front 3rd helps things out though.
