The Canadian (BC) Boys will be travelling south, to the Con next summer. Since you are all con experts (or so you claim) what time of year is best? What other stuff (trails and other) is around the Con to do. The Con is about 13 hours driving for us so we'll be down there for a bit. When we come down would you guys be into hooking up for a little trail mayham?!
How long does it take to run the con end to end? thanks

If you run in July, you can hook up with the TIN BENDERS. There might also be a 2nd annual Carnage on the Con (comp for some of the clubs).

Its still nice weather, and a LOT less crowded in early to mid September. Lots of water and mud in May-June, with ocassional rain. Warm to hot with lots of people in mid June to end of August. Give your self two days if you want to smell the roses, three days if you want to camp and play, but it can be run in a long ass day with no breakdowns.

Thanks Fatkid and Scwafish!
We're likely giong to run it in July or august (maybe Sept). As the details pan out we'll keep you posted. It would be sweet to hook up and catch all the good spots along the way. Kev, No my truck isn't running yet. We're rebuilding J's as the sporttrucks contest is coming up. Last year he was close to putting the smack down on Reo, this time he will. We've built a three link with panhard bar rear end. Using 19" coils, and hiem joints on a set of dana 44s from a scout. It will be sporting 5.38s and avalanche engineering high steer arms. Its pretty sweet. You and ryan should check it out. last year with 14"coils ford radius arm bushings and rear sami springs up front he scored a 904 on the 30 (one point behind Al's "TJ") so he should do pretty good. Thanks again guys, we'll see you on the con! Sorry I had to post one of my truck in its past life!
