Hey Mudmagnet, I was in Halifax for a week back in June and got to drive around Nova Scotia a little, as well as PEI. I didn't see a single Samurai the whole time I was there. And I'm always looking for them everywhere I go. What are the trails like out there? Seems kinda hilly in some areas, looks like it could be fun.

Great article. I was looking at the rocks when I was at Peggy's Cove thinking "Hmmm, this would be cool if I had the Zuk with me". I had to laugh at their meeting point: a Tim Horton's donut shop. I've never seen so many Tim Horton's before - they're on every corner in Halifax and every single freeway exit has one. Sometimes I would see two right across the street from each other. How many donuts do you Nova Scotians eat anyway LOL???

lol, not so much for the people but to keep the cops happy so they don't come after us off-roaders.........lol....i don't know why they put them right across from each other but there are alot in seeing range from the parking lot of another tims..... good place to begin and end a run though, always one close to a trail...... warm up after a snow run too.

ANY OTHER ZUKIS?????????? LIKE I SAID THERE RARE!!!!!!!

Maybe just not on this BBS. Check out the BBS at off-road.com, I think there's at least one Zuker there from the Maritimes.

I'd love to take another trip out that way but it's a little unrealistic to drive. I'd always wanted to see the Maritimes and I finally had a chance this year since my work's yearly convention was in Halifax. It's always easier to justify a trip when it's for work. Sure is beautiful out there though.

LOTS of places to wheel but not too many people intrested in it, there is 2 clubs, both on the main-land, one is JEEP ONLY, and the other is a EXTREAM ROCKCRAWLING club, so we might have to start a suzuki club.....and we'll just see how a stock sidekick compairs to our modifyed samurais.......lol.....

oh but money is gonna be tight so it will be along timly build up till i get back on my feet and then it will get serious.

half the money that i sell the 4runner for will be spent coming out so ill have about 5000 to build it to start with.

thats why i was thinking that maybe a toyota pickup would be in order, easier to find and parts i guess would be more available. i would love a suzuki due to the size and the preformance and all.
maybe ill have to get one from the mainland, i will most likly be flying into the main ruther than halifax so i might look at getting one then.

whats the laws like in NS with springovers tyres etc??
