I paid $1900 for my 86 two years ago. It was bone stock, but it come from Georgia and was(and still is) Rust FREE and working AC! It sat in the guys heated garage for 4 years when he owned it. He bought it from the original owner who lived in GA. It was ultra clean or else I wouldn't have bought it.
I think that fuel injection was started in 91. From 86 to 94 there were only a few changes. The dash got a change in mid 88 along with the driveshaft flanges. The 5th gear got a lower gear in 89. Hope this helps! Wayne |

I paid $1000.00 for my 86 and it was sprung over with 31s, had a new bestop and rhino lined on the inside. It also had all new brakes, bearings and seals in the running gear. I thought that was a pretty fair deal.

I paid $50 for my '91 but some guy had wrapped it around a telephone pole on piner. bent a spring and taco'd the fender and wheel. around $1000 sounds like a fair deal.

$3500 is pretty high for just that set-up. I payed $3100 for my '88, but it had gears, lockers, SPOA, 32's, p/s, and a 4.16 t-case. And that is even in Colorado, where wheelers don't go cheap. It was a good deal, though. ~Steve

Ok, Maybe I was hosed on mine, But I had to have it, I saw the 93 i got sitting in the dealer's lot w/ 60,000 miles on it, and in perfect shape, ran super, and look like a millong just needed new brakes, so i bought it for a little over 7000 for my 25th bday present from my wife in 1999,
but man this is fun truck.. I guess I over paid. oh, I like it...he he..:O) _Adam and Mary C.

On the Zuk mailing list a couple of years ago someone posted their dealers MSRP window sticker for either an '85 or '86 Samurai and it was only $6995 BRAND NEW. |
