I've got the kit front and rear. Originally I was running it spring under with 5 leaf front/4 leaf rear. You will want to run either 5 leaf all around or 4 front/5 rear. The 4's are way too soft for the rear.

It performed very well on the SoR run last month. I just switch to spring over last weekend. I'm waiting for my sumo CV shaft to arrive to take it out and test it.

I am not running the CSC kit, but I have a six-leaf spring pack up front and am considering trying a front seven-leaf pack. I'm running 5'ers in the rear. The inboard front spring locations will probably kill a four-leaf pack in a trip or two of heavy flexin. Just my $0.02. Anyway, go Yj's, you will luv it <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

I have had for a couple of months, I love it!
I am running 5's up front, 4's in the rear. I am going to put 5's in the rear soon (sags). Flex is awsome and it drives nice on the road too. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

I broke a upper rear shock mount ( <IMG SRC="smilies/thefinger.gif" border="0"> fatkid its not my welding <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">) I need to soften up this ride bad..The wife won't even go out w/ me anymore..well untill if fix that or buy her a LC..man I need money, anyone need a <IMG SRC="smilies/grinpimp.gif" border="0">.. <IMG SRC="smilies/laughing.gif" border="0">

Nope. I don't run a panhard bar. The only thing that you will get is body roll. The springs are really soft so there is a lot of body roll if you are not running a swaybar.

I dont run a panhard bar, dont seem to need it. As for the body roll I went with the Rancho 9000's, stiffening them up on the road seems to take care of it.

Do any of you notice any axle shift under real heavy articulation?

I have not noticed any axle shift to speak of. Hey ammelk do you ever make to Eastern Washington to wheel? If so we should get together sometime.

I have noticed some axle shift, not as bad as when I had missing links and shackles up front though. I was thinking of talking to Spidertrax and seeing if they would modify their pahnard bar for the YJ setup. It looks sweet. My interest was more for on-road though.

is there anything special that you have to do in the way of spring pads for the CSC rear wrangler kit? I just did a SPOA and I dont wanna torch off my mounts if I dont have to? also what kind of shackles do you suggest using?

<IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0"> 1 problem I have with the front reversal kit is the new shackle, after 2 serious wheeling trips and a bunch of flexing on things and playing around, the bushings are ripping out and it has shifted all the way to the inside. <IMG SRC="smilies/eek.gif" border="0"> I made my own rear kit with drop style shackles, so now I'm going to try to make something different for that front shackle. <IMG SRC="smilies/bounce.gif" border="0"> To make it different to where it doesnt have that huge angle. my new springs are breaking in and now since they were just a little longer then stock YJ springs the shackle is bottomed out and my rig has a serious lean.

Slightly off topic... How much more flex with the YJ's over a CJ/Sami setup? What are the real #'s?

I felt I was getting close to the same amount of flex with Sammy springs up front (with a tall shackle), but the springs were twisted to hell at full flex. I get pretty much the same flex with the YJ's but the springs hardly look twisted so their longevity should be much better. The other advantage of the YJ's if you go S/R is the approach angles, I get big flex with a small shackle with the YJ's SR'd.
