I used to be a Toyota guy but have come over to the Sammi Side well, sort of. I just started a new project. It's all Toy Running Gear.I'm sure I'll have a bunch of questions for you guys. Here is the new project.

It is all Toy gear at the monment. It has an 88 rearend 4.10 welded for the moment. Front is an 84 22R with a 4 speed and 4 cyl xfer case. All of this is in the works. I just got the body and frame 2 days ago. Motor, trans and t-case is in the back yard. It's on 36x12.50 swampers. Other than that, ask away cause I know I will.

Something to think about... A lot of the trail only Toy rigs are starting to run 4.10s in the axles (stronger, free since they're stock) and get the gear reduction courtesy of Marlin Crawler. That way, you have STOCK diffs, and you can carry a welded junkyard diff and have a whole spare third member in your toolbox if nessecary. Plus, you're 22RE is pushing around a lot less weight, so 5.29s might not be as nessecary on the street as they are for a full toyota.

The only reason that I'm going with these parts for now is because I already have them. No need to do shopping yet. Mods will come later as I can get more money.
