Post Changing a transmission?

I have an 88' sammy just started working on it and need to replace transmission, how hard is it, what is the easist way to pull it?

You can remove it with the engine and transfer case still in the vehicle - you gotta hold yer mouth right, tho. Make sure you drain the gear oil outta the tranny before you pull it. <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0">

can you pull just the trans.? or do you need to pull both.

You can pull it by itself. You might want to put a heavy duty clutch in there while you're down there.
