Post To CV or not to CV??

At what point on your rear do you decide to go with a cv??
I havent welded my spring pads on yet, so i can still play with the rear axle...With the axle pointed up 20* the ujoints look almost equal and the shaft is sitting at ~15*...Will this work??
I will leave the stock flange at the top and change over to the D44 Ujoint??
