This is definitely an un-bright question.. duh.. but is kerosene that stuff you buy at the gas station from the pump labled "Diesel Fuel"??? I've also heard of Diesel Fuel #1 and Diesel Fuel #2... Which one (if either) is condidered "Kerosene"???
Please pardon my dim-witted questions, but I don't ever buy kerosene... Thanx |

Hi Caltow;
As hard as it is to believe, I'm in the process of restoring this particular Sammi to as near original condition as possible (without spending a fortune)... When I am finished, I want it to be somewhat of a "Show Truck" which is still highly serviceable... I don't mind having people stop me to say "Wow!.. Really nice-looking Zuk!! Who's restoring it??" and then explaining to them that I'm doing the work myself!! If I simply wanted to "sandblast and powder-coat the chrome wheels...." as you suggested, I would have done that. As you mentioned, "chrome is for show-trucks!"... and I agree. Even though it's not what I'm looking for,I respect your opinions on this... Next time, I would hope that you would respect my questions since I'm asking them for a particular reason... |
