Rocker panel sliders even with rust rot?

I would like to put some sort of rocker protection on my Sami, but my whole right side rocker panel has rusted away, any tips on how to go about doing this?

Yes.

Add nerfs when I get around to it. They're bent already.

Edit* The tubes for the nerfs are bent already. The sliders are stong as hell. Its 4x3x.125 rectangular tubing. The rear frame mount is 2x2x.125 tubing, and the front mount is 1/4" angle to the body mount. Sorry for no tech earlier, I was in a hurry.
I did cut out the body. I gained clearance over stock with these, and there is more room to go up.

Another option you could look at is boat sides, or angling the rockers in towards the frame rail as much as possible.
