toy gears???

are stock toy gears good for sami??? what size tires are good?? max speed??

speaking from an engineering standpoint, they should be good for up to about 36" and 70mph. but keep good oil in it, maybe some Lucas.

will the stock motor have problems with stock gears and 33"

well, I don't know what your gears are. but a 65hp motor will be somewhat slow with 33's, regardless of whether or not the gearing is correct. mine is rolling on 39.5" iroks and I put 5.89's gears in it, and they make up perfectly for that size tire, cuz my GPS says my speedo is within 1 or 2 mph of accurate. and I can't use 5th, but I can go 60 at least down the road. and believe me, with full width chevy 1/2 tons and huge iroks rolling on rutted roads, that's as fast as I dare. but I have to say that they roll and track pretty damn straight considering all things, even the lightweight.

Also remember Toy axles didn't come with all the same ratio. It is a good stepin the right direction you get better gears, stronger axles and birf's, stronger housings, better choice of parts and upgrades. If you have lower t case gears they will go a long way.
