On my 90 I was losing power to the coil and it ended up being the computer. I changed the coil, cap, rotor and everything else I could think of, but in the end I sent it away and for $250 they reworked my com and I have not had any trouble since.

standard things, like, - check everthing you can think of, check what's listed in the book. also, O'Reilly's auto parts can sell you a new ecm for 180 with lifetime warranty. I have a 94 'kick engine with TBI, so that's the ecm I priced and got.

J/K , this could be a ECU issue , as stated above , but check all the basics , there is an IGN fuse , IIRC

I had the same prob a while back of my ZJ. The thing was it would loose power a few starts.

I cleaned the ECU connectors with electrical connector cleaner, as many as I could find.

AND - you will not buy a new ECU for $180. They are about $500 new.
