CJ, YJ,or XJ

hey folks, trying to get some opinions here. puting toys under my zuk and im done with the rear with yj springs. Now for the front,i have two sets of springs,a set of cj rears (will they give me the same flex as the yj's or will it be a little stiff). i also have a set of xj's from an 89 cherokee with a 4.0 . They would give me about 8" of lenghtened wheelbase ,but they to are stiff. or should i just round up another set of yj's for the front. i have 0$ in the cj's or the xj's. what do you guys think.

The XJ rear springs I have in my garage are significantly longer and wider than the YJ springs stacked on top of them. What are the negative effects (if any?) from running wider and longer springs in the front than in the rear of your Zuk? Seems to me you'd want it the other way around. However I'm no leaf spring expert

I would use yjs up front. They flex nice. I would rather have longer/flexier springs in the rear since, all things being equal, the rear does not flex as well as the front.
Travis..

For what it's worth, on an XJ, which weighs at least 80% more than a Sami, the springs are stiff as hell.

...Did some research awhile back on XJ's, and I guess they replace all but the main leaf with the leaves from a Chev S10 pack and they soften up a ton, but part of that is also getting some more lift as the S10's are very arched springs given that the S10's are spring-under and the XJ is SOA.

Just some extra info for you.
