88 Samurai water temp sender
I assume that search is shut down for bandwith reasons so I will post up my question in here.
Posting on behalf of my old man. he picked up a very nice 88 samurai down in arizona and it runs and works great but I guess the temp gauge pegs out or goes way high. He wanted to change the sender but he can't find the damn thing in his Haynes book. Any help would be much appreciated.

i had the tbi 1.3 in my 92, and am now running the 16v, but on both engines the sending unit was in the same place. Mounted in the intake just under the thermostat, i has only one wire running from it. it looks like at one time the wire on mine was orange with a white stripe. that may vary with the engine.
be carefure pulling it out! mine snapped off in the intake with hardly any force at all. its only a copper piece so easyy does it!

Thanks for the info sammi
I will have him look there today. I remember he said something about it being a single cam engine if that makes a difference.
