interference head

just changed the timing belt after i lost some teeth on the old belt and wondering if my 86 stock motor is a not interference or interference head?????

no personal experiance but ive always heard these are non interferance

A 86 stock 1.3 is a non interference engine. You be in good shape.

I have the head shaved .020 and the block deck cut .020 and then clayed for valve clearance because of the ISKY High Lift cam and still had, in laymans terms 1/8" of clearance.

The only way the valve would ever touch the piston is if it drops a valve.
