Samurai Diffs front and rear.
So the Lock Right in my front axle broke a few months back. Sheared the pins off and messed up the holes pretty good. I decided to just pull it out, weld it together and stick it in the rear and put my rear up front.
Little did I know that the axle splines are different sizes, front being smaller than the rear. So after welding my side gears to the locker and putting everything back together, I found out that I could not get my rear axles to fit. So I check my spares and find out that the side gears are indeed different sizes. Well, there's two days worth of work down the drain. So remember boys and girls. The front won't work on the rear. So now I get to tear everything apart again and redo it. I'll pull the working locker out and put the correct side gears in. Then I'll take my stock side gears and weld them up good and put it in the back. Anyone want a welded front Lock Right for cheap?
