6.1 install ?
OK I went to pull my case apart yesterday to put the gears in and I cant get the thing apart. I took off the smaller piece with the rear output and then removed the roll pin and that fork that it hold on but I must be missing something because the case will only come apart 1/2 an inch. Also is there a difference between efi and non efi cases. I hace an efi case that has a broken cover and a non efi case with broken insides.

If all the bolts are out and the tcase won't separate, it sounds like the speedo drive might still be in there. The instructions should go over this. Pull that speedo drive out and you can likely just tap the case halves apart.

Don't you have to pull the detent balls out forst too (I forget)??
