I love these little things, theres a guy in town that has one but he wont sell it ands its been sitting in a field for 8 or 9 years

Reminds me of the one I rebuilt with my ex-g/f's son for his b-day back then. Took us 300 hrs in the body alone with sandblasting everything etc.
Nice work ! Those little critters are getting rare nowadays and everyone of them is worth to be rescued.

Wow - great build and another UK member too! A friend had one of these, the last I saw of it was 1995 and his had the Fred Flintstone holes in the floor too. Nice one - I'll watch your progress.

So what's the chassis gonna be ?
We onced measured a SWB GQ Patrol and the wheelbase does exactly fit a LWB Samurai

There was a short thought about doing the same with a Samurai tub on a Patrol chassis.
