narrowed samis

does anyone have some pics of how they narrowed the front sheetmetal on their sami? just looking for ideas

just cut some metal and pinch together where you want it and weld....

not the prettiest thing. but even with the crappy welding it still doesn't come apart when its been jammed up against rocks!

8" total out of the hood and fenders.

I saw a good build thread on someone narrowing their's. I never took the time to take pictures while doing the ones I've done. Maybe someone will chime in that remembers the build on the hood.

I just cut mine in half, and took 8" out of the center.

here is how I did it

hood


measure and cut the desired amount


attached it on the hood


look in the top right corner of the hood, you will need to cover that up so that the sides will go all the way back
