Help ID Tracker/Sidekick Factory POSI-PIC inside - Pirate4x4.Com : 4x4 and Off-Road Forum

Hey...I've bought 5 or 6 of these Tracker/Sidekick Front Thirds to put into Samurai's in the past 3 or 4 months.

I searched here....and on ZK and on the ZU.....with no real answers and no photos with a positive ID of a Factory Limited Slip.

I ran across this one and was wondering if it's a factory Limited Slip Differential? I'll Post 2 pics of the Front Third in question...and one of the way all the others I've had look.

Here's the one I'm wondering about....looks like a little miniature Limited Slip to me....but I was wanting to find out for sure if they even had those in Trackers/Sidekicks?

And here's what some of the others I've got and/or seen look like....and these are all front thirds out of Trackers/Sidekicks...so I was wondering if they were just different carriers...like one being a 2 pin and the other being a 4 pin...or if any of these had factory limited slips in them?

they look like all my open front tracker 3rd's, that i have welded over the years, however, as far as i know, the limited slips where only in the rear ends, and available on sidekick sports 1996 1997 and 1998 (as an option)

AHH...thanks...that's what I was lookin' for...an answer to guide me in the right direction on findin out more about these.

I do know that some guys look for them and stock Samurai Limited Slips for running in certain "stock only" classes in competition.

Seems like I've seen a stock Samurai LSD goin' for right at $500 on ebay in the past.
