Are you sure its not just a toyota housing that is offset for samurai's? I couldnt see them putting that much R&D into samurai stuff.
*edit - http://trail-gear.com/samurai-axle-housings.html Looks like it is sami axles. why the hell... Kit Includes: * Samurai Rock Assault™ Rear Axle Housing * Chromoly Samurai axles * Differential stud eliminator kit * Differential drain plug * Ultra grey silicone

From what i have heard from Joeduckslayer is that its a TOYOTA axle to match the front axle when you do a TOYOTA axle swap. I know it says "Chromoly Samurai axles" but i dont think they are Samurai axle size shafts. From my understanding it just like Sky's rear axle just wider and fully fab'ed from all new parts.
Edit: "The Samurai Rock-Assault axle housings use stock or aftermarket 1986-1995 Toyota Pickup/4Runner brake backing plates and brake assemblies and uses a custom length chromoly axle shaft that Trail-Gear is also very proud to manufacturers"

They should change the website to say that it uses Toyota thirds. From how I read it, you would still use a samurai 3rd.

I thought about how easy it would be to make those for sammy guys a long time ago. I thought they had more than given up on you cheap zuk bastards buying any parts at all besides 6.5 gears. I'm unclear at this point of the game but if it uses a zuk third member then its retarded there is no point in swapping to a custom housing and keeping a crappy third member that is easily converted to fit a zuk application.
