Rear Steer on a sidekick

Alright guys,
Im building a sidekick up, and im putting toyota Minitruck axles on it, but im running two fronts on it for 4 wheel steer. So first question, are the directions of the diffs different? As in will i need to flip the toy axle over for the back or does the stock transfer box have different rotation directions for front and rear already?

Second question kind of depends on the first one, because im using a samurai transfer and running a twin case setup, which means my rear prop outputs on the passenger side of the truck, how do i go about connecting it to the rear diff which will now be on the drivers side of the truck? Will a double cardin (Not sure what you guys call them over the pond?) have a wide enough angle to go across the width of the frame rails and give enough flex with 16" air shocks? Its on a one link setup by the way so top links wont get in the way so much. If its not going to reach can i send drive over to the other side of the truck with a chain and sproket? Obviously a pretty beefy one with a massie guard over it? Although if i have to flip the rear diff over then it would become on the right side.

Cheers
Rich

A#1: NO you do NOT flip the axle to put it in the rear. Flipping will make the axle run in the reverse direction from the front axle. You must spin it.

A#2: You will need to cut the knuckle balls loose and rotate then 180*. Then you can flip the entire axle over to get a passanger side REAR axle. In order to make the axle rotate in the forward/correct direction you will then need to reflip the 3rd member over in the housing.

I hope this makes sence. I have picture at home i think and will add them when i can.

Im putting a sammy case behind it to get doublers though, which is pass side output.

Thats for the info, i understand pretty much everything apart from the flipping the 3rd member bit, im English you see, so some of this terminolagy is new to me, im guessing you mean flip the whole differential 180 degrees in the casing??

Thanks
Rich

Ok, so the way i understand it, the axle would run the right way as it is, however to get the diff over to the right side the axle is flipped and the diff rotated 180 degrees to return it back to the normal position and direction. Sound about right?
Thanks for all the help so far

Yes you are correct. You will need to rotate your knuckle balls so that when you flip the housing over your steering arms are on top of your knuckles vs under the knuckles.
