Desperately need help -'91 Samurai fuel tank/pump issue

Ok guys, I'm not sure what to call this. I need the cover on the gas tank that the wires for the fuel pump pass through. This is NOT the one that the sensor for the fuel gauge goes through, but the second access cover to the tank. The fuel pump hangs from this. The problem I have is the molded-in plug the wires pass through is shot. No saving it.

Is this a part that is available seperately? Is it a Mitsubishi part? This is my daily driver and there is no fixing this piece, it needs to be replaced.

I've checked all the things like junk yards, etc. No luck.

Has anyone else encountered this?

sounds like a dealer only item if you want a new (not a fair used part in slightly better shape) to bolt in and go.

If the rest of the bracket is good, I would strip it down, clean all gas off of it, weld or bond a new piece of metal in there, drill a hole for the wires to run through, then secure the wires to the bracket with a gas friendly RTV/sealer.

Or just buy a new part and bolt it in...

I see this all the time and usually from northern cars. I have an extra fuel pump assembly in good condition (no pump) for $25 if you'd like it. Jusr E-mail me.
