will this engine fit?

Been zukin for over 15 years and it's been a while since I been on this board but you've got to get the answers from the right people. I just bought a 2000 Suzuki Swift with a 1.3 16V single cam.....can someone please tell me this thing will bolt upto the samurai or tracker tranny?

I'm in need of a new engine for my 85 413K and was keeping my DOHC for another project. I want a decent motor for my truck and I took the little car out and it screams.

Now that we've found engineers that will re-certify mods on rigs the SPOA will go back on and it'll be alot more fun. Slow going with 512 on 30's.

i run an early 16v 1.3l dohc in mine, bolted to the tranny fine. I dont know how meny chages they made over the years, but mne was almost a bolt in. Motor mounts were the same, tranny the same, I redid all the wiring so dont know if it is the same or not.

this one is a single cam...this is where it's catching me off guard. I don't want to yank a motor out of a running car if it won't fit. I'll run it in the pits till she blows if I can match it.

I've got an early DOHC 1.3 too and they got a few issues to deal with. This single cam has no dist sticking out the back so I'm hoping it'll bolt in....no cutting the firewall yet.

As far as I'm aware its the G13BB block in the 2000 swift so it should bolt straight up as its based on the same block as the stock 1.3.

That's what I've found over the last few days, a G13 block will fit to the stock tranny, a G16 block will fit with the adapter
