We have realized a few things regarding who is buying what on our site. There are a wide variety of customers, some are guys like you and me, grinding our lives away in a 2 car garage!! But others are mid to large sized companies.There is a minimum cost to process an order for our company so after that cost is met, you will see your shipping cost per dollar spent actually go down. Its set up that way as sort of a discount.

We all know computers don't make mistakes but our shipping module has a hard time computing shipping costs down to every last flap disc. The big online guys do it and its expensive & time consuming to enter and map-out every single product's weight and dimension. We will likely need to do this in the next year or two, but its a moving target as we add products to the site.

I do realize that people who need $15 or $20 worth of discs shouldn't get charged 9 or 10 bucks for shipping. So we set up those free shipping packages.

While you didn't really answer my question... you did give me an avenue for some great no-shipping charge items.
I'll probably double up or triple up on those.

I guess what I am trying to say is, the shipping gets less as you order more. Ex: 10 flap discs will charge you shipping around $9 and change, 100 flaps would be about $20(depending on where you live). So you can order 10x the amount of flap discs for only double the shipping costs.

But anyone can go into our online shopping cart and add and subtract items to check the shipping costs. Our system will do it for you, its based on UPS rates. Everynow and then a weight will be off and charge way too much for shipping. But we have gone through 98% of it and adjusted the weights.

im running out so im about to order some cut offs and flappers on the cut offs how much longer do the USA last? if they cost 50% more but last 75% longer it might be worth it just tryin to get the most for the money.

Perfect timing camaro, we just released some quantity packages. So this is what I have found. They will definitely last twice as long as the $.89 wheels (acutally $.79 w discount). But those cheapeez are still better than an HF wheel.

I used a handful of the USA's over the last two months and they cut a lot nicer than the imports ($1.29 on the list). I was doing some side welding and they can definitely take more abuse than any of the imports (twisting, binding, etc). We had to cut off some light-pole cover plates with stainless screws and it was a nasty angle and uneven cutting surfaces and they really held up nicely.

For 30cents extra per wheel most have gone the USA route. We let the orders speak for themselves because you guys know your wheels. The USA's get a very high re-order rate.
