LONGEVITY COMPANY NEWS: IMPROVEMENTS and NEW MODELS

Hi Everyone,

I am excited to update you all on what has been happening with LONGEVITY!
We have partnered with one of the best factories in China producing our equipment. Now, this has been said before not only by us but by many companies on Welding Web and the internet as we continue on improving from our beginnings. The truth is this factory has a production failure rate of less than 1.5% and they supply some of the bigger brands their equipment in the DIY categories professional equipment including plasma and MIG lines.

LONGEVITY, aside from the Big Brands, is the only smaller company to be honored with a contract because of our commitment to quality and history in the business. If someone was selling a similar model before, they are now selling a copy dubbing them 2012-2013 models (Yes, Chinese copying Chinese – go figure). We will show internal comparisons to prove the quality has drastically improved and our repair techs are very impressed with the internals.

Since our start in 2004, we have constantly improved our products to make sure our customers receive the best quality at a good price, and that they are confident in dealing with LONGEVITY – we have never mis-advertised our warranties and still offer our 5-year parts and labor warranty, which we never changed because of fear of quality and insured our stance and commitment (even though the other guys asked us to go to 3-years).
As you know, our factory was shared by our competitors, and the factory quality has slipped forcing us to not only repair more models than expected, but also buy more inventory to cover repairs and insure customers did not experience down time. We are very excited to offer a better quality products, which we feel confident will not be coming back for repair, and will allow our users to experience a first rate product at affordable prices in this economy.

What have we done this year to improve?

1. Service Centers

We have added several service centers for LONGEVITY including a full repair center at our location with 3 repair techs. We are now able to repair any welder by any manufacturer for an affordable rate. In addition, we have signed with several independent repair centers in the country, who also distribute our equipment and have Miller or Lincoln repair certification. Our goal is fast turn around time to minimize the customer down time in the situation you do need something repaired.

2. New Products

Plasma Cutters:

The ForceCut 42i, a 40 amp cutter with Power Factor Correction (PFC) also known as Auto Voltage allowing for will be our leading production model capable of severing 25mm or almost 1 inch. It has a blow back start pilot arc, will be CNC ready, and will feature a PT-60 Torch with a safety mechanism to prevent false fire – something requested before and something the leading plasma brands incorporate. We will also introduce a new 60amp and 80amp versions sometime before end of year.

TIG Welders:

We introduced the TIGWELD 160 SX and TIGWELD 200 SX both with 5 year parts and labor warranties and both capable of 110v and 220v welding on AC and DC TIG plus STICK. These units are affordable, simple to use, and also can weld the thicker 6010 rods. We wanted to keep it simple, trouble free, and reliable but still at an affordable cost for the hobbyist or pro.

For the Professionals, we are introducing two models, the TIGWELD 200 EX, which is a digital synergistic ACDC TIG/STICK welder capable of Pulse Welding and with the reliability of the leading brands. It will basically do what our TIGWELD 200 DX does, but will be more reliable and the arc will be as crisp if not crisper. We will still continue to carry our DX line as well.

The second model is the TIGWELD 200i, which will be a DC TIG/STICK model with Hot Start on the stick side and high-frequency or lift option for the TIG. It will be 110v/220v with Power Factor Correction (PFC), which maximizes the welder output no matter the input power.

STICK WELDERS:

We are also introducing several stick models including the STICKWELD 160 and 160i, one will feature PFC for auto-voltage regulation and will be suitable for heavy use. Both will be capable of Hot Start and Lift TIG.

MIG-TIG-STICK:

As seen before on here, the competition did sell the MIG-TIG-STICK for a limited time, but we have won over the contract and will be offering a MIG-TIG-STICK model from the reliable producing factory! Other MIG-TIG-STICK models will not be from the same factory and the quality or internals will not be comparable!

Customer Service:

Before I go into this, I attempt to train everyone here to handle every possible situation with the resources we are given. I also show our employees respect – the same respect we ask of them. My personal goal is to run LONGEVITY efficiently without being involved! I want it to stand alone and have customers satisfied. However, at any point you are not satisfied with a LONGEVITY product, and are unable to get the support you expect, please contact me directly:

Email: simon@longevity-inc.com
Phone: 877-566-4462 x 201

I will personally make sure your situation is pleasant! I cannot change our policies nor will I promise you the world, but I will make every attempt to correct what is wrong! That is a promise.

We will be introducing the new models, videos, and information over the course of the next several weeks, and we will be showing them off at Sema Car Show, and Fabtech this year. In addition, we are also going to be launching a new LONGEVITY website which will feature an easier to browse menu and more resources.

Thank you,

Simon Katz

We fix all of our machines. The current failure rate is acceptable, but at about 4%, which is still too high. We are happy to have the newer models, which will allow our process to be smoother.

We sell a lot of plasma cutters and welders. Our commitment is to constantly improve. Look at all the past pirate customers we have serviced over the years!

Updated model release?

When would the updated version of the Weldall 256pi Runner Package be out? What would be the cost to 95917?
