VersaNotcher & saw arbors from Rogue Fabrication - 210 degree adj., clamp on a bend!

Our customers have been asking for it for a year, and we finally released a tubing notcher. The VersaNotcher requires no assembly, and has all the features you guys need at a price you can afford.

It doesn't look like any other notcher because it isn't like any other notcher. The VersaNotcher has pivot bearings on both sides of the joint between the vise and bearing block. No other notcher currently on the market has this feature. Double pivot supports reduce vibration the same way putting a bolt in double shear increases joint strength.

The VersaNotcher accepts most common hex drive hole saw arbors like Milwalkee. They are locked in with 6 set screws for a rock-solid clamp. We don't see the point in buying hole saw arbors that are long, expensive, and have extra features we don't use for notching, like a pilot drill. For these reasons, we developed our own hole saw arbors...

The best arbor for the best notcher:

*Self-aligns in our stainless VersaNotcher shafts, eliminating chatter and hole saw wobble!
*Maximum space/rigidity: saw starts .100" from shaft end.
*Shop around, you won't find a better price on hole saw arbors.
*Like you would expect from Rogue, made in the USA from domestic steel.
*5/8-18 threads. (1/2-20 available too!)

We recommend you get an arbor for every size of hole saw you use to save time.

These are not designed to fit other notchers or drill chucks.

Price:
$9 each or 3 for $24 for 1/2-20 threads (1 1/8" and smaller hole saws)
$10.50 each or 3 for $28 for the 1/2-20 threaded 4130 chromoly arbors (1 1/4" and larger hole saws)

Any chance on a discount in exchange for a full write up style review? Starting to build 3 of these in 2 weeks and need a new notcher.
You bet. I'll send you a PM.

neat tool, any video of it in action?
Thanks. no video yet. Just need to take the time to shoot one. It will be a couple of weeks :(

Here are a few other arbors that fit our shaft. There are MANY sizes of arbors out there. Note that we do not ever recommend using the type on the left with the pins... they like to wobble. These can mount flush, we left some shank exposed to show the fit.

Here is a mini-class mud dragster frame we built for a customer. He wanted us to make this part of it, and he is going to weld it and build the rest. It is made from 1.25x.120 1020 DOM steel and was bent on a Rogue Fabrication Alpha Tubing bender and Notched on a Rogue Fabrication VersaNotcher.

Thanks for the review! We will make changes to alleviate your concerns:

1. We are going to start shipping the VersaNotcher with our arbors starting today.

2. We are going to be grinding a small counterbore into the acme drive screw to retain the lockring set screw. This will allow the customer to disassemble/adjust the unit, and also not have it ever slip.

3. Loosening 4 allen screws and lining up tick marks is about as easy as offsets get for tubing notchers. Nothing we can do to make it easier.

Thank you for helping us improve our product!

We just had a customer notch 1" x .050 4130 in our notcher, said it worked perfectly. He used sleeves to keep the tube sturdy in the vise jaws.

Also, in stock and shipping same day everyone!
