*** Axle shortening alignment jig***

These are the jig bushings you need to shorten axles,,, I now make sizes for Dana 30, Dana 44, Dana 60, Ford 9" small bearing ,Ford 9" large bearing, Ford 8.8 , Corp 10 bolt , 12 bolt, 14 bolt and stock them. Other sizes not in stock well take about 3 or 4 days to ship.

A set of Bushings for the Differential run $99 a set including shipping

wheel bearing bushing for semi float or full float axles run $55 each including shipping

1 1/4" by 48" heat treated ground and polished bars run $120 including shipping.

( on the diff bushings one size will fit D44/60 and 14 bolt and the other size fits Ford 9" small & large,D30, and corp 10 & 12 bolt )

I'm intersted in buying a bar and some bushings but I also question the 48" length. Is that a typo or ????

Otherwise I would like a quote on a bar, Dana44/60 bushings, need end bushings for both Set10 and set20 bearing ends shipped to 95650 business address.

Thanks, Jeff

You do one side at a time then move the bar to the other side ,,,, In 23 years or axle shorting I have never found the 48" bar to short yet.

Duffy
P.S. you only need about 40" of bar to do a full width 14bolt

What do you mean by a full set ? for what axle?

For a axle you well need a set of diff bushing ($99 with shipping) and a wheel bearing bushing ($55 with shipping ) and a bar ($120 with shipping)
so your looking at the same as jeff at $329 for a set to your door.

Thanks Duffy

( I have used a 72" bar at a friends shop in the past and it sucked,,,, I like to feal the drag on the bar when I weld it and with it going all the way thrue you get a reading thats hard to tell if its the side your working on or if the other side thats draging )

Thanks Duffy

Richard The two sets of diff bushings well cover all of the axles listed,, but you need bushing for the wheel bearing or full float spindle to ....
and there is about 8 to 12 sizes needed for a fairly complete set or wheel bushings.

If your going to be working on dana axles and ford axles your best bet is to buy both sets of diff bushings and buy the wheel bearing bushings as you need them ,,,

Thats how I`m doing my stock for now on wheel bushings ,,,, I well stock set 10 , set 20 and ford big and small and one size of full float bushings ,,, but tell I start selling a lot of one size there is no point in stocking them ,,,, I have made a bunch of blanks with the right ID and well turn the OD to fill the orders.

I'm looking to build a Dana 60 rear using a Rock Crusher center and the Warn 35 spline full float kit. Do you have the outer bushings for the Warn kit?

I don`t now what the dia of the outer bearing is on the Warn kits,,, If you mail me the spindle it would only take me 2 or 3 days to make what ever size your need ,,,,, Your looking at about $75 + shipping

The D60 chunk bushing I keep in stock all the time... The only spindle bushings I make for stock are set 10 and set 20 (ford big) for the rest I got blanks made up so I only need to turn the OD to size

The warn FF kit uses the same size bearings as a front 60, but the spacing is closer together on the spindle. You will either need a custom spindle to weld to the tube, or the correct axle end to fit whatever spindle you have, and the bushing to fit that end

Does your full float bushing slide over the spindle, or thread onto the spindle?? Can you make one with a 1.5" bore?

Warn Full Float

I think that the outer spindle mount has the same ID as some Ford applications. I measured the ID and came up with 3.15". Is that the same or close to big or small bearing ford? I included a picture of the end to make things more clear. The spindle is seperate and bolts onto these ends much like a front application.

Hey that's the same as the ends on a D60 housing I bought for $35 on eBay. Where'd ya get that? I had a set of Ford front D60 spindles machined to fit these ends - are you saying somebody (Warn?) makes spindles specifically to mount on these? What's the bolt circle diameter?

BTW, to answer your question, that is the same as the Ford big bearing set up, so you'd just use the Ford wheel bearing bushing.
