I posted this up in gen4x4 fourum and had some people interested in the tool and sold one already. So here it is. This will be a special order only item, we will not have one on the shelf ready for shipping. Expect a week lead time before shipping. Here is the specs and pics to follow. This will fit only a 2" spindle that is standard on most rear FF D60's, some older ones have a 1.75" spindle thread, THIS TOOL WILL NOT FIT THAT SPINDLE. It uses a cutter that is inexpensive and is available at any tool supply, and the part # for a particular place to get them at will be given at time of purchase. It is best used and run at around 300 RPM and is designed to be used with a 1/2" drill. I have found a air drill to be best. The price is 450$ shipped anywhere in the lower 48. Feel free to ask any questions.
I have personally done 2 housings with the original tool, what I have figured out is after you bore the spindle you will need to clean the ID of the spindle slightly witha hone or a round flapper disc on a die grinder. Nothing major just to clean it up to let the axle slide in. It will be a tight fit for the major diameter of the shaft to slide through, but the shaft will slightly neck down at the mouting flange to alloy oil to pass from the hub to the diff. So dont be alarmed when you do your first one and the shaft dosent just fall right in.
